Psychedelic Safety Presentation Q&A with Amber, PharmD BCPS

September 17 @ 6:00 pm 7:15 pm Pacific Time

You’re invited to a friendly presentation and Q&A event where we’ll explore the intriguing world of psychedelics, focusing on their safety.

During our time together, we’ll walk you through the key challenges and considerations when using psychedelics, helping you navigate these therapies safely and effectively. You’ll gain practical insights into how to minimize risks and maximize the benefits of psychedelic treatments.

We’ll also have a Q&A segment, which will allow you to ask questions, share your experiences, and connect with others in a warm and welcoming environment. We hope you can join us!

Here’s what we’ll cover together:

  • General Risks: We’ll discuss the potential risks of using psychedelics, including toxicity, abuse potential, and the risk of triggering psychosis.
  • Classical Psychedelics: A dive into well-known psychedelics including Psilocybin, LSD, DMT, and Ayahuasca: their mechanism of action, specific safety concerns, and drug interactions.
  • Empathogens: Exploring MDMA’s unique role, additional safety concerns, hangover potential, and drug interactions.
  • Drug Interactions: A thorough look at the various drug interactions that can occur when combining psychedelics with antidepressants and other drugs, and how to navigate them safely.

We are looking forward to a great discussion with you!
